The mission of Von Ormy Cares is to strengthen our community by spreading hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and providing essential community services that uplift individuals and families. Guided by Scripture, including Galatians 5:13 and Matthew 28:19–20, Von Ormy Cares serves in obedience to Christ while addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs within Von Ormy and the surrounding areas, including support for food insecurity programs and Senior Services.
Governing Statement of Faith & Authority of Scripture
Von Ormy Cares is a faith-based support organization, organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Rooted in Scripture, Von Ormy Cares spreads hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and affirms the authority of the Holy Scriptures as the inspired, trustworthy, and final authority for faith, doctrine, and practice. Scripture governs the organization’s beliefs, mission, programs, policies, leadership standards, and stewardship of resources. All decisions are evaluated through Scripture, prayer, and obedience to God’s Word.
